Cyberattack struck US Internet service company Dyn on Friday local time, causing network outage for many websites based in the country, with Twitter, PayPal, Spotify and CNN experiencing online interruptions and slowdowns.
Dyn said the attack came from worldwide sources and was hard to tackle, while the US Department of Homeland Security and the FBI announced that they were investigating the incident.
