Alhaja Aregbesola Was An Agent Of Change, Says Ojudu

The Special Adviser to President Mohammadu Buhari on Political Matters, Senator Babafemi Ojudu has described the late Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola as a silent pillar of humanity who devoted her entire life to the common good of the society, especially the poor and vulnerable.

The late Alhaja Aregbesola who died on Tuesday was the mother of Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, my friend , comrade and leader.

In a statement issued today, Ojudu said the late Alhaja Aregbesola lived a simple but very rewarding life. A mother per excellence, she was committed to the development of her community and the progress of her children, all of whom she imbued with the values of service, honesty, discipline, courage, respect, dedication compassion and hard work, among others.

Little wonder her son, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has been passionate about all the assignments committed unto his hands in the service of the people at different times.

According to Senator Ojudu, Alhaja spent the greater part of her lifetime promoting one of the kernel principles of Islam which is giving to the needy. She was a silent motivator in the campaign for justice and democracy in Nigeria and dedicated her lifetime to the good of the society.

He prayed that may Alhaja's soul find comfort and may Allah grant her family and loved ones the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
