His voice is golden. His delivery is legendary. His content is tight. Yet, he is humble enough to declare that there are no heroes in his chosen field. In my opinion,he remains one of my heroes in Radio broadcasting in Nigeria.
I fondly call him FM Baba! Others call him Wongi. We share so many thoughts in common. I respect and admire his deep knowledge and hands on experience in broadcasting. Inside out, he understands Radio and the business of Radio.
People of Ibadan, you will soon get hooked with the magic of Wongi on Jamz 100.1FM. I can have a bet on this.
His latest publication: " There are no heroes- An Autobiographical Instructive For The Modern Broadcaster" is indeed quite instructive. All those who wish to make a career in radio broadcasting must have this book.
