Ondo State Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has welcomed the new Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG, Zone XI,(Osogbo)It was during a courtesy visit by the new AIG to the office of the Governor at Alagbaka, the state capital.
The new AIG said he has come to report for duty.
" I started with Osun State and now I'm here to report for duty sir. It's equally important to reassure you the cooperation of the police formation to protect lives and properties", he said.
Speaking further the Governor commended the state Commissioner of Police, Hilda Ibifuro-Harrinson for her efforts in the state. The Governor also promised to assist the police in all areas in a view to ensuring that the menace of kidnapping and other security challenges in the state are minimised.
